THE POWER OF PRAYER
A couple months ago a friend of mine spoke to me about some challenges that she was having and she also mentioned that her daughter wasn’t performing to her true potential in school as her grades had dropped and I realised that she was extremely depressed. I could feel her pain and I promised her that I was going to take a “Prayer Request” to someone that I know very well who attends a church in Barton’s District in St Catherine. I personally met with Mrs Royal a true woman of God who is a bona fide prayer warrior and I gave her the name of my friend and her daughter. I was told to tell my friend not to worry but to have FAITH.
One day after purchasing a pair of shoes I showed her a 20 % discount voucher that I got from a department store and she asked me for it as she needed buy two pairs of slippers for her daughters but she would have to wait until she got paid. Coincidentally the voucher expired on the same day that she got her salary so she went with her family and just as she entered the store she saw a lady, a girl and a man in an isle looking at some shoes. The lady began talking how she can’t believe how fast her daughter is growing and how she has even outgrown shoes that she hasn’t worn and how much she would want to find someone to give them to. She wasn’t talking to anyone in particular and even though my friend changed the isle the lady was there and she was still talking out loud to herself. Just as my friend picked up a pair of shoes, the lady said.

My friend was left speechless and after a while she started a conversation with the lady and also gave the lady her, her contact # and even when this TOTAL STRANGER left the store she reminded her to call her later. Just as my friend came to me and was telling me about her encounter, her phone rang and it was this TOTAL STRANGER asking her if she was coming for the shoes. She told her she was just 10 minutes away and when she reached to this TOTAL STRANGER’S house, she was given NINE pairs of practically new shoes. The shoes that are posted are the proof of this testimony and the other two that aren’t in the picture were in a box. Her daughters report was very good but unfortunately I am unable to post that for confidential reasons.
